Finally, they go to Beechwood Junior School

After a long wait and had failed in our two appeals in order to get the closest school, my kids have to study at the offered school, Beechwood Junior School.
Soon after we had arrived in Southampton, we had gone to City Council for applying  a school. They had offered Beechwood Junior School for Alya and Glenfield Infant School for Rania. We had preferred not to accept those schools since they  were located far enough, that we thought it would be irrational  especially in winter season, as it located far from our flat and we have to walk approximately 30 minutes for one way to reach the school.

Then, we had made an appeal to Portwood Primary School, but we failed. So, we preferred let our kids stay at home until summer holidays finished, and wished there would be places available at the beginning of autumn term. Meanwhile, School admission advised us to accept Beechwood Junior School first before making another appeal, and we did it.

On 5th September 2012, Alya and Rania went to school for the first time after staying at home for almost 4 months. They are very happy to study there, indeed, although we failed in our second appeal to St. Denys Primary School.
